As one of the major event in the city of Los Angeles, the 29th Annual Sunset Junction Street Fair was held on August 22 - 23, 2009.

The Sunset Junction Neighborhood Alliance is a 501(c))3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in the community of Silver Lake, Echo Park and Los Feliz and the greater Los Angeles area. Understanding and acceptance of cultural diversity life styles and gender are the motivation for their efforts. They provide local youth with the family and school counseling, tutoring, computer training, employment, mural painting, and neighborhood clean-up experience.

Every year, this festive event attracts tens of thousands of people. In addition to over 200 craft, artisan, non-profit organizations & testing units, and food booths, this year’s fair included three musical stage, and a carnival midway.

Jinro’s booth was decorated with a large canopy and portable bars. Jinro prepared its original Jinro Mojito and its new organic cocktail Jin-Ger Spirit. Almost 1000 soju cocktails and 10 cases of Hite beers were sold during two days of the event. In fact, Jinro’s booth was surrounded by other microbrew beer companies, however, Jinro’s booth generated the most profit in the section.

For Jinro and Hite, participating this local festive event serves not only as a great opportunity to extend its support for its local community, but also as an excellent opportunity to introduce its products to the mainstream market.
